Delicious Filet Mignon Toast Recipe

Ingredients:
- 500g Julienne filet mignon (Sliced similar to kebab meat, ensuring it’s not too wide)
- 20 large slices of toast bread (enough for 10 toasts)
- 200g room temperature butter
- Half a bunch of finely chopped parsley
- 8-10 crushed garlic cloves (adjustable according to preference)
- 6 onions (sliced in crescent shapes)
- 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- Ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard
- 10 leaves of lettuce
- 250g grated cheddar cheese (or sliced cheddar cheese)
- Sliced gherkin pickles
- Salt
Filet Mignon Toast Recipe
- Slice the onions into crescent shapes. Add the sliced onions to olive oil in a heated pan. Sauté the onions until they change color. Add pomegranate molasses, balsamic vinegar, and salt to the sautéed onions to caramelize them.
- While the onions are caramelizing, mix finely chopped parsley and crushed garlic into room temperature butter until well combined.
- Toast the slices of bread until they become crispy. Spread the butter mixture on one side of the toasted slices.
- Add the filet mignon slices to a hot pan bit by bit. Cook each side for about 1 minute, flipping them. Ensure that the filet mignon slices are perfectly cooked.
- On the inner side of a toast slice, start by layering caramelized onions, followed by the cooked filet mignon slice, and then grated cheddar cheese (or sliced cheddar cheese). Optionally, spread ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. Finally, add sliced gherkin pickles and lettuce leaves.
- Complete the toast by placing another slice of bread on top.
Note: Optionally, you can also add round slices of tomatoes that have been pan-fried.
